Though it was raining hard today I decided to go to Century City Mall to return some and have my favor ramen at their food court. Luckily I went because I ended up finding a MMJ oversize jacket in my size for a ridiculously good price! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the price showing up at the price scanner, it was ~$86 down from $438, with additional 15% off the final price was about $83 including the tax! I couldn't have passed it off for that price!
And I won a kindle at my DH's company Xmas party this week and got a surprise Xmas gift from my DH toady! What a lucky week for me it has been! :-)

F21 Bohemian Long Skirt in White
Found the perfect bohemian long skirt from f21, which comes in both white and black. I couldn't help but dig both ones. I paired the white skirt with a denim shirt from Gap one day.
Stop N Cafe @ 3rd Street Promenade
Went to check out the newly renovated Santa Monica Place today. It was sunny, warm but not hot, perfect weather. The new mall looks pretty good not great, but I was really impressed by the new Bloomingdale's store, very upscale and hip, love it!
Then went to the Greek cafe, Stop N Cafe on 3rd Street Promenade for an early dinner. Had passed by this place many times, always wanted to try it. Finally today was the day.
We ordered a Gyros Plate (with Pita, Taboly, Zaziki & Rice) and Lamb Shrank (with Pita, Lentil Soup and Greek Salad). Both dishes were delicious (well, both of us love Greek cuisine anyway. :-)), gyros, pita were delicious, lamb shrank was very very tender, both taboly and zaziki were very refreshing. I like the rice too, like the texture and aroma, different from Chinese rice. Portions were just right.

HM Lace Dress & Animal Print Top
HM cream color lace dress, very pretty. I would like to shorten the sleeves a little bit though.
HM animal print top. I'm not a big animal print fan, but it seems like this is one of the major pieces for HM's Fall collection, so what the heck? :-)

Somethings from F21
Went to F21 today while waiting for my car having a service done and walked out with the following pieces.
1. snoopy sweat shirt. I'm a big fan of snoopy, but haven't bought any snoopy Ts for years since I feel I'm getting too old for it. :-( However, I couldn't resist this one, so cute!
2. pinstripe T. I can have enough pinstripe Ts in summer time. :-)
3. embellished pinstripe T, love this one a lot!
A pretty productive day! :-P

Feng Mao Mutton Kebab in Korean Town
Heard about this Feng Mao Mutton Kebab place in Korean town a while ago, and the reviews on yelp.com are quite good, so decided to give it a try yesterday. This is a place that you bbq meats on skewers yourself at the table.
We went there around 6PM, the place was small and quite empty then. Because of the place is operated by Korean Chinese, we were served with those typical Korean side dishes right away when we sat down. We first ordered 1 order of lamb kebabs (10 skewers), cartilages (1 skewer), chicken gizzards (5 skewers), Chinese style cold cucumber salad and a big bottle of Korean beer to start with.
The waitresses there were very friendly, they told us since this was our first time there, they would bbq the skewers for us. The meats came out very favorful and tender. I loved the cartilages, so I immediately ordered 2 more orders of them then I also ordered beef belly and some kind of beef thing. I also like the beef belly, quite chewy. But I hated the other beef thing, it was tough like a cardboard.
After we finished what we ordered, we still felt hungry so I told the waitress we wanted to order another order of lamb kebabs. When she brought the skewers over, she looked at me and said you guys ate a lot but you looked so skinny. Hahahaha, should I take that as a compliment? :-P
Overall, I like the place, something different. Too bad the drive is a little bit too far. Here are the 2 pictures I took:
After the dinner, we stopped by the Grove to take a walk and some pictures. There were tons of people at the Grove, the 8 story parking structure was almost completely full. It took us about 10 mins to find a parking spot at the 8th floor, which never happened before not even during Christmas seasons! Crazy.
It was a very pleasant night last night, light breeze and very comfortable weather. Good day to be out and take a stroll. We also went to BN to have a piece of White Chocolate Raspberry Cheese cake and Starbuck latte to finish the night off.

2 Anthropologie Necklaces
Had a wonderful and ultra fun 4th of July block party over the weekend! It was lots of fun! Feeling kinda lazy today, didn't feel like go check out the usual Tuesday Anthro sale, so checked out their online sale instead. Did find 2 pretty necklace for very good price! Placed an order for them, hopefully I'll receive them next week.
First one is the Sunken Ship necklace ($19.95, orig. $48)
Second one is the Voyage to the Moon necklace ($19.95, orig. $48)
Hopefully they will look just as pretty in real life than in the pictures!
Update: It turned out that the first one didn't that look in real life as that in the picture, so I returned it. I did keep the 2nd one, quite bling bling. Got a few compliments when I wore it out the first time.

Finally Got to Use My Anthro B-Day Coupon Today!
Went to Anthro a few time, wanting to use my Anthro 15%off discount on something, but with no luck until today. Oh, yeah! Found two dresses, one was a denim shirt dress, which I think I will pair it with a pair of black leggings and my Mia Maiden Wedge Sandal.
The other one was a very girlie dress, which I think I can dress it up by pairing it with my red sexy Stuart Weitzman heels. Will need to think about the belt to go with it though.

Some F21 Fitting Room Reviews
Stopped by F21 before meeting my DH for dinner today, tried a few things and took some pictures. Maybe I will go back to get one or two? :-P.
Here is the first one, Twelve by Twelve embroidered sheer blouse in white. I love the look but not the price. It costs $36, for a F21 top! On top of that, it's dry-clean only! So I had to think about it.
2nd one was a long blue and white strip long tunic with 2 side pockets. Casual and comfy. I think I'll go back and buy this one. :-)
3rd one was a olive color halter top with embroidery at the front. Quite lovely, it runs at least one size bigger than usual though. Probably a yes, since I don't have anything in this color. :-)

Vince Oversized Roll Plaid Shirt and Some Accessories
So happy today! Found the Vince oversized roll plaid shirt I've had my eyes on since they came out at Nordie Rack today for $79 (Orig. $205!). It's soft and loose fit, love it!
And also found some cute accessories at Loehmann's. Loehmann's is a great place to shop for good-priced accessories, better than Nordie Rack, esp. when there is coupon available. I got a Lucky necklace, (btw, I love Lucky Brand accessories!), a pair of ear rings from Betsey Johnson and a set of bangles.
Aren't they lovely? :-)

Finally have time to update my blog! Gone to vacation for about 1.5 weeks and came back completely exhausted, so took a few days to recover from the exhausting trip.
Anyway finally had time to go out and shop a little bit. :-) First went to check out Anthropologies' new sales items but came out empty-handed. Did try out a few items, like the grey tank, but nothing really interested me.
Then went to HM to check out its sales, bought a $10 black capri. 3rd stop, gap. Found a lightweight plaid shirt for ~$25. I'm a sucker for plaids. :-)
At last went to f21 and found this halter top, quite cute for summer. Do you think so?

40% off @ NM Last Call Center!
Heard about this sale yesterday and decided to check it out today. Found a pair of Chloe 2119 in burgundy color, surprisingly it sits well on my nose without touching my face like so many other Chloe sunglasses do. And it was about $70 down from $290!
Also found the Sam Edelman Queenie boots I have been waiting for the right price! Though they are half size bigger, I got them anyway. Sexy and comfy at the same time!

then for main course, we ordered Mixed Seafood Grill, Seafood Pan Roast, Big Easy & Cajun Combo.
Will love to go back sometime!

Loot from Rebecca Minkoff Sample Sale!
Went to Rebecca Minkoff's sample sale today. It wasn't as big as what I thought it would be. But I did find what I wished to find, a 3 zip clutch in ruby and a mac with distressed leather in crackle yellow. I was holding a 3 zip clutch in black for a while, but finally decided to give it up because didn't like the matte finish leather that much. Both ruby and crackle yellow are very lovely color, really loving them! Very happy about new buys!!!!!

Ayara Thai (LAX): Surprisingly Yummy!
Went to Ayara Thai for lunch with my husband today. This place was recommended by a friend. I wasn't sure about it before I went. :-) It was located about 2 or 3 mins away from LAX on a tiny little street. From the outside it looked very ordinary but looked way nicer and bigger inside than I expected. Quite a busy place for lunch.
We ordered Shrimp Paste Fried Rice (extra spicy), Spicy Bamboo with Pork (extra spicy),
Thai Ice Coffee for me and Thai Ice Tea for him. My Thai Ice Coffee was perfect, not too sweet, but the Thai Ice Tea was slight too sweet. Both Shrimp Paste Fried Rice and Spicy Bamboo with Pork were yum yum, very very authentic Thai. I would say Ayara Thai is one of the best Thai restaurants in South Bay area.

El Rocoto Peruvian Restaurant in Gardena
Went to a Peruvian restaurant, El Rocoto, in Gardena for dinner last month, interesting place. This was my first time been to a Peruvian restaurant. Half of their menu are Chinese dishes, does Peru have a huge population of Chinese? Very curious. The restaurant looked much nicer and bigger inside. It was a Monday night, so not very busy.
After sitting down, we first ordered the Peruvian punch, the waitress called it Peruvian version of Spanish sangria, which I love. It tasted somehow like Chinese sweet rice wine. sweeter than Spanish sangria, might be slightly too sweet for my taste.
The green sauce on the right was the sauce for everything!. Yum Yum! Then we ordered Peruvian fried calamari, which actually was from the seafood menu, as an appetizer.
Very tasty, we dipped them into the green sauce instead of the tartar sauce that came with it. For main course, we ordered Bistek a lo Pobre, a very thin beef steak topped with a fried egg, and Milanesa de Carne, a special breaded beef..
Both of us liked the thin beef steak better. The dishes were very big portion, neither of us could finish our main course after finishing the big appetizer, so we ended up having leftover for lunch and dinner the next night. While we were having our dinner, we noticed that one of the other tables ordered a huge, I meant real huge, dish of breaded seafood combo, it looked very delicious and made me want to order it right there. hahaha.
Overall their foods were very decent with very reasonable prices and portions and their staffs were very friendly. We'll definitely go back again in the future.
